grey blending
casey, kelsey, and shelli specialize in blending gray in. soft lowlights and dimension, not a flat, all-over cover-up. if you’ve had gray coverage before that grew out with a hard line, this is the fix.
color correction
gail specializes in fixing color that didn’t turn out the way you hoped, from a box dye gone wrong to an uneven balayage. every correction starts with a consultation, since the fix depends on exactly what’s underneath.
blonding
shelli and kennedie specialize in blonde work: balayage, foils, and full transformations. they’ll set you up with a toning and upkeep plan so it stays looking intentional, not brassy.
curly hair
amy, ava, and gail cut and color curly and textured hair in its natural state, not stretched straight and guessed at. if a stylist has flattened your curls before, you’ll notice the difference here.
precision bob
helen and gail are known for the bob. it’s an exact, unforgiving cut where every millimeter shows. helen trained at gentiles in adelaide, a salon founded by stylists who trained under vidal sassoon, the person who invented precision cutting.
razor cuts
gail, kelsey, and helen cut with a razor instead of shears for texture and movement. it gives softer, more textured results for shags, pixies, and undone-looking layers.

Hand-painted color built to grow out gracefully. Most of the work you see on our Instagram falls here — soft, dimensional, low-maintenance results that look intentional at every stage. Consultation required for new clients, by phone or in person.
highlights — full head

Dimension throughout, root to ends. Method — foil, balayage, or a combination — is determined at consultation based on your hair and your goal.
highlights — partial

Foil or balayage covering the front and top to crown. A focused way to add brightness without a full commitment.
face frame

Ten foils or fewer placed just around the face. Can be done alone or added to a haircut.
root touch-up

Permanent or semi-permanent color applied to regrowth only. Best for growth of six weeks or less. Toner or glaze to refresh ends available as an add-on.
single process

All-over color in one step — typically used to cover grey, deepen tone, or refresh existing color. Does not include lightening.
gloss & toner

A non-permanent service that adds tone, shine, and life. Often paired with a color appointment; effective on its own for refreshing between visits.
vivids & fashion color

Blues, greens, pinks, purples — anything outside the natural spectrum. Consultation required to assess condition, determine placement, and plan the process.
color correction

For color that needs to be fixed, changed, or carefully managed to protect the condition of the hair. This is work that varies significantly in scope — it can run three to six hours and sometimes requires more than one appointment to reach the goal safely. A consultation is required before booking, by phone or in person. Your stylist will give you an honest timeline and cost estimate before any work begins.

behind every chair at willow is r+co, a professional haircare line built for people who care about what’s actually in their products. every r+co formula is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and leaping bunny certified, and made without sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, or phthalates. it’s a genuinely low-toxicity choice, not just a marketing label.
on the color side, our gloss, toning, and root-refresh services are ammonia-free. full permanent lightening and lift use a standard ammonia-based formula, which is true industry-wide for that level of processing. your colorist can walk you through which category your service falls into.
